Current Role:

Handles phone and visitor reception, prepares market summaries (exchange rates), manages schedules, processes invoices, conducts internet banking operations, and prepares monthly bank ledgers.

Q1　 What motivated you to join?

Imabari is surrounded by rich nature and is famous for the Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge on the Shimanami Kaidō. Watching ships sail through the Seto Inland Sea, I learned about a local company active globally as a shipowner and felt a strong connection that led me to join.

Q2　What makes the job rewarding?

Seeing a newly completed ship depart is deeply moving. Although my daily work is desk-based, I feel connected to the ships through the large monitor displaying weather and sea condition data.
During our 100th founding and 60th incorporation anniversary celebration in 2024, I felt a strong sense of the company’s journey and connections with many people, which motivates me every day.

Q3　What are your future goals?

I want to take pride in my work and myself and share that joy more deeply with my colleagues by continuing to face my daily tasks with dedication.
